Overview

The Grandstream GAC2570 Enterprise conference phone is a mid-range video conferencing from Grandstream, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The GAC2570 is a SIP conference phone for meeting rooms and boardrooms — a twelve-microphone array, a 10W speaker and a 7-inch touchscreen in one unit on the table. The microphone design is what separates it from a speakerphone. Twelve omnidirectional microphones covering roughly 5 metres let people at the far end of a table speak normally instead of leaning in towards the middle. If the room runs longer than that, it pairs with up to two GMD1208 wireless desktop microphones placed up to 20 metres away, which is usually far cheaper than moving to a larger system. It runs Android 10 with access to Google Play, so alongside SIP calling it can run meeting applications directly on the device rather than through a laptop. Twelve-way conferencing and twelve SIP accounts. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth matter more than they sound: most meeting rooms have no data point in the middle of the table, and wireless removes either a floor box or a cable across the carpet. Power over Ethernet is there for rooms where a cable does reach. One thing to be clear about: it registers to a PBX or SIP provider.
