Yeastar, Yealink and Teltonika in Qatar

Read this before you order
We would rather be clear about the terms up front than have you discover them at customs. On a Qatar order you are the importer of record: our price covers the goods and the courier charge to your address, and import duty, VAT and any clearance or handling fee at the Qatar end are yours. Transit is typically a few working days, and clearance time is outside our control. Radio and telecoms equipment may need type approval from the CRA in Qatar — we supply the datasheets and certificates, but checking the requirement is your side.

Yeastar IP PBX
Yeastar is what most Qatari enquiries ask for, and the P-Series is the current range. Size it on concurrent calls, not headcount — an ordinary office has 10–20% of its extensions on a call at a busy moment, a call centre far more. Analogue ports are modules on the P-Series rather than built in, so budget for them.

Yeastar sells its software in Basic, Standard, Enterprise and Ultimate plans. Basic is free and genuinely usable, but video conferencing, the operator panel, call-centre queues and hot standby are not in it. Yeastar VoIP gateways
Gateways connect the lines you already have to the PBX. The two letters matter and ordering the wrong one costs a week: FXO is for analogue lines coming in from the operator, FXS is for analogue devices you plug into your own system — a fax machine, a lift phone, an alarm dialler, a gate intercom.

On the LTE gateways, confirm the bands with us in writing. These are built in regional variants and a module sold for another market will not register on a Qatari SIM. We check the band list against your operator before shipping one, and we would rather lose the order than send you a gateway that cannot see the network.
Yealink IP phones
The PBX is the cheap part — twenty desks of phones usually costs more than the system running them. All of these are held in stock in Kuwait.

Spend the money where someone watches other people’s lines — reception, a PA, a dispatch desk — and put the entry-level phone everywhere else. One caution: the T31G is PoE 802.3af and its power adapter is not in the box, so if it is going somewhere without PoE you need adapters alongside it, one per phone. The full Yealink ladder is here.
Teltonika industrial routers
We are an authorised Teltonika reseller. Being straight with you about stock: the entire Teltonika range is supplied to order, not from shelf stock, so ask us for a lead time before you fix an installation date. These are industrial cellular routers and gateways — DIN-rail mounting, wide temperature range, dual SIM, serial and relay I/O — for remote sites, utilities, metering and vehicle fleets, not for offices.

Getting a quote for Qatar
Send us the requirement and we will come back with a delivered price, the courier charge and a lead time. For a phone system the three things we need are: how many people, how many of them are on a call at the busiest moment, and how many lines come into the building and what has to stay analogue.
