MikroTik hAP ax3

Overview

The MikroTik hAP ax3 is a value-priced access point from MikroTik, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The MikroTik hAP ax3 is a Wi-Fi 6 router for homes and small offices that have outgrown consumer hardware. It runs the Qualcomm IPQ-6010 quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM — enough to handle routing, firewalling and VPN simultaneously without the slowdown typical of consumer boxes. The port layout is what distinguishes it from the hAP ax2. The ax3 has **one 2.5 Gigabit port plus four Gigabit ports**, where the ax2 has five Gigabit ports and no 2.5G. If your internet service exceeds a gigabit, that 2.5G port is the difference between using the line you pay for and capping it at the wire. One port also supplies PoE-out, so an access point or camera can be powered directly. Wi-Fi 6 across both bands helps most in congested environments — apartment buildings and shared offices — where the gain comes from handling many devices at once rather than raw speed to any one of them. It runs full RouterOS v7, not a locked-down consumer firmware: VLANs, bandwidth management, WireGuard and IPsec VPN, detailed firewall rules, and queue management including CAKE and FQ-CoDel for controlling bufferbloat. In stock in Kuwait. Centrix can configure RouterOS before delivery if you would rather not build it yourself. Priced at 65 KWD, supplied from local Kuwait stock with same-week delivery and bilingual technical support.
