Overview

The Teltonika RUTX50 5G industrial cellular router is a mid-range router from Teltonika, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The RUTX50 is an industrial 5G router for sites that cannot afford to lose connectivity — retail counters, branch offices and equipment cabinets where a dropped link costs business rather than patience. It carries three independent routes onto a network: two physical SIM slots plus an integrated eSIM. Set a primary carrier and a backup, and the router moves traffic across on its own when the primary stops passing it. In Kuwait that usually means pairing two of Zain, Ooredoo and stc so one operator's outage does not take the site down with it. 5G here is sub-6 GHz, which is what Kuwait's networks actually run — up to 3.3 Gbps down and 900 Mbps up on paper, falling back to LTE Cat 20 and 3G where 5G coverage thins out. Five Gigabit ports (one WAN, four LAN) and dual-band Wi-Fi handle the local side. Note the Wi-Fi is 802.11ac, not Wi-Fi 6.
