Ubiquiti UniFi U6 In-Wall

Overview

The Ubiquiti UniFi U6 In-Wall is a mid-range access point from Ubiquiti, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The U6 In-Wall puts a Wi-Fi 6 access point and a four-port Gigabit switch into one wall-mounted unit, which makes it the natural fit for hotel rooms, student accommodation, clinics and serviced offices — anywhere every room needs both wireless and a couple of wired sockets. One PoE+ cable feeds it, and the four downstream ports take the room's wired devices: a television, a desk phone, a printer. One of those ports passes PoE back out at up to 15.4W, enough for an IP phone or a second small access point, so an entire room can be served from the single cable already in the wall. Radios are 4x4 on 5 GHz and 2x2 on 2.4 GHz, 5.3 Gbps aggregate. Two practical notes before a bulk order. PoE+ input is required if you want the PoE output — plain 802.3af will run the access point itself but will not power anything downstream from it. And check the existing back box and wall plate on one room before ordering for a whole building; the mount is included, but retrofits into existing Kuwait wall boxes are worth proving once rather than fifty times. Managed from the same UniFi controller as the rest of the network. Priced at 109 KWD, supplied from local Kuwait stock with same-week delivery and bilingual technical support.
