The Yealink MP56 E2 Teams Phone is a value-priced ip phone from Yealink, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The Yealink MP56 E2 is a Microsoft Teams desk phone for staff who live in Teams calls: managers, team leads and hot desks. It replaces the original MP56, which Yealink discontinued in September 2024, and keeps the same design with updated internals. It has a 7-inch 1024x600 touch screen running Android 15 with the Teams-tailored interface and a dedicated Teams button. Dual-band 2.4/5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 are built in, alongside dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE. There is a USB Type-A port for a USB headset and a USB Type-C port. Audio uses Yealink's Noise Proof technology, Acoustic Shield and a full-duplex speakerphone, with a magnetic, hearing-aid compatible handset. Phones are managed from Microsoft Teams Admin Center or Yealink's YMCS. Check this first: this is a Teams phone. It signs in to Microsoft Teams and needs a Teams Phone licence and calling plan or Direct Routing on your tenant; it is not a general SIP phone for a Yeastar or Grandstream PBX.
