Overview

The Yealink SIP-T31G 2-line Gigabit IP phone is a value-priced ip phone from Yealink, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The Yealink SIP-T31G is an entry-level desk phone for offices that want reliable calling without paying for a colour screen or many line keys. It is a good fit for reception desks, back offices and large rollouts where every desk needs a business phone on the same PBX. It registers up to 2 SIP accounts on 2 LED line keys and has a 2.3" 132x64 backlit graphical LCD. The two Gigabit Ethernet ports let you plug the PC into the phone and share one network cable to the desk without slowing the computer down. Audio is HD on both handset and speakerphone, with Yealink's noise filtering, and the phone can host a local 5-way conference. There is an RJ9 headset port with EHS support for compatible wireless headsets. Power comes from a PoE switch (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) or an external 5V adapter. Check this first: Yealink lists the power adapter as optional, so if your switch does not provide PoE, order an adapter with the phone. The stand has two angles and the phone is wall mountable. When not to buy: if users need more than two lines, busy-lamp keys for colleagues or a colour screen, a higher T3 or T4 model is a better fit.
