Overview

The Yealink W73P DECT Phone is a value-priced ip phone from Yealink, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The Yealink W73P is a starter DECT cordless system: one W70B base station and one W73H handset in the box. It suits offices, warehouses, clinics and shops where staff need to take calls away from the desk but still want a proper business phone on the company PBX or SIP service. One base registers up to 10 handsets, holds up to 10 SIP accounts and carries up to 20 simultaneous calls, so you can start with one handset and add W73H units as the team grows. The handset has a 1.8" colour screen, HD voice, a 3.5 mm headset jack and a battery Yealink rates at up to 35 hours of talk time and 400 hours of standby in ideal conditions. Coverage is rated at up to 50 m indoors and 300 m outdoors. Concrete walls, floors and metal shelving reduce this, so for larger sites plan for optional repeaters (up to 6 per base). The base connects to your network over Ethernet and can be powered by standard 802.3af PoE. Check this first: the W70B is a single-cell base. If you need handsets to roam between several bases across a large building, look at Yealink's multi-cell bases instead. Extra handsets are sold separately.
