Ubiquiti UniFi Access G3 Reader Pro (UA-G3-Pro)

Overview

The Ubiquiti UniFi Access G3 Reader Pro (UA-G3-Pro) is a value-priced access control from Ubiquiti, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The G3 Reader Pro is the full-featured entry reader in the UniFi Access range. It has a 4.7-inch touch screen, a built-in camera, a microphone and a speaker, so it works as a door reader and a video intercom in one unit. Visitors press the screen to call, and staff can answer, talk to them and open the door. People can open the door with an NFC card or key fob, a PIN code, face unlock, their phone (UniFi Endpoint app) or Touch Pass in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Visitors can be sent a QR code to scan at the reader. This makes it a good fit for a main office entrance, a reception door or a villa or building gate where you want to see who is calling. The camera is a 12 MP sensor with a wide view (98.6° horizontal, 125.7° vertical). If your UniFi console also runs UniFi Protect, the reader's video can be viewed and recorded there next to your UniFi cameras. The reader is rated IP55 for indoor and outdoor use. The screen works from -10 to 45 °C and switches off outside that range while the other functions keep working, so in Kuwait it should be mounted in shade or under a canopy. It comes in black (UA-G3-Pro-B) and white (UA-G3-Pro-W). How it fits in a door: the reader is powered over one network cable from a UniFi Access door hub (Door Hub or Door Hub Mini), and the hub drives the lock. Everything is managed in UniFi Access on a UniFi console such as the Dream Machine Pro or Cloud Key Gen2 Plus. Ubiquiti does not charge a licence fee for UniFi Access. What else you need: a UniFi console running UniFi Access, a door hub, a PoE++ switch port or injector for the hub, an electric lock, an exit button or exit reader, cabling and installation. Centrix supplies and installs the complete door. Touch Pass: Ubiquiti gives each UniFi Access console 10 Touch Passes free for one year, granted once when the first compatible reader is adopted. More passes and yearly renewals are bought from Ubiquiti in the Access app. Fire safety: on an escape route the lock must release when power is lost or the fire alarm goes off. Use a fail-safe lock and wire the release to the fire alarm system. Price on request. Call or WhatsApp Centrix in Hawally for a quote. Priced at 0 KWD, supplied from local Kuwait stock with same-week delivery and bilingual technical support.
