Ubiquiti UniFi G4 Bullet Camera

Overview

The Ubiquiti UniFi G4 Bullet Camera is a value-priced security from Ubiquiti, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The G4 Bullet is a 4MP UniFi Protect camera in the classic bullet shape — visible, directional and easy to aim at a gate, a loading bay or a run of perimeter fence. It records 2688x1512 across an 86-degree horizontal view, noticeably narrower than the G4 Dome, which is what you want when the job is to watch one thing properly rather than cover a whole room. As with every UniFi camera: it does not record by itself. A Protect host — a UNVR, a Cloud Key Gen2 Plus or a Dream Machine Pro — stores and serves the footage, and the camera is not usable without one. This is the most common ordering mistake in the range. Check the mounting position against the rating. Ubiquiti rate it IPx4 and IK04 — splash-resistant and lightly impact-resistant. That covers rain and a hose-down; it does not cover dust, and it does not cover immersion. For Kuwait the missing dust rating is the one that matters. Under an eave, a canopy or a soffit it is fine. Bolted to an exposed wall facing open ground, it will take in dust in a way the rating makes no promises about. Infrared reaches about 9 metres, so it covers a gate or a doorway rather than a yard. It draws 4W over a single PoE cable, and person and vehicle detection come from Protect itself with no recurring licence. Priced at 89 KWD, supplied from local Kuwait stock with same-week delivery and bilingual technical support.
