The Grandstream GXW4216 16-port FXS VoIP gateway is a mid-range pbx & ucm from Grandstream, available at Centrix Kuwait with full manufacturer warranty. The GXW4216 connects sixteen analog devices to an IP phone system. Each FXS port registers as its own SIP extension, so an existing fleet of analog handsets, a fax machine, a door phone or an overhead pager keeps working after the PBX behind it is replaced. Check the direction before ordering, because this is where most orders of this kind go wrong. FXS ports supply dial tone to analog phones. If what you need is to bring incoming analog lines from the operator into an IP system, that is an FXO gateway — a different product. FXS supplies; FXO receives.
